Over 2000 scientists from 82 countries came together on the World Ocean Census. These scientists were asked three questions, and the book is divided following these three parts. The first part is about what lived in the Ocean. In the second part, we discover what is living in the ocean now and in the third part the scientists try to answer the question "what will live in the ocean?” The book is forwarded by Sylvia Earle of the National Geographic Society.
