Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is a long biological molecule that can be found in the nucleus of every cell. It contains our unique genetic code which is called the genome. The DNA comprises four basic building blocks (bases): The adenine (A), the cytosine (C), the guanine (G) and the thymine (T). The bases are paired together in the same way: A pairs with T and C pairs with G. From a visual perspective, the DNA is shaped with a double helix shape similar to a spiraling latter. It contains genetic information and contains 204 billion atoms.
