Before the discovery of the atomic nucleus and its constituents it was believed that atoms are indivisible and are the building blocks of all matter. Later on it was dis- covered that all atoms are composed of neutrons, protons and electrons. Once again, those particles were thought to be solid and indivisible. It was found out, once again, that the neutrons and the protons are divisible as well. Experimental research in the 1960s showed that neutron and protons are solid particles but have substructure composed of three components.
