The most common and most graceful of all African antelopes, the impala can run at speeds faster than 60km/hr. They can leap up to 10m in length and 3m in height. Male impalas have Lyre-shaped and ringed horns, up to 75cm long whereas females have no horns. Impalas are medium-sized antelopes usually found in the savannas and thicker bush-lands in southern parts of the African continent.
