The 18th-century German philosopher, Immanuel Kant proposed the Rule Deontological moral theory which is most commonly known as Kantianism. According to these theories, the rightness or wrongness of actions doesn’t rely upon on their outcomes but on whether or not they fulfill our duty. He believed that there was a supreme principle of morality, and he referred to it as The Categorical Imperative.
