In this classical Greek drama, Sophocles tells the story of Antigone. Antigone is the sister of deceased Polynices who conducted a rebellious army against his own country and died in single combat. King Creon orders the body of Polynices remains unburied. Antigone defies the order of Creon and buries the body of her brother. Antigone claims that the laws of the gods supersede the laws of men. From there unfold a tragedy filled with moral and philosophical issues.
