The Cerebellum, which means "little brain" in Latin, is a part of the brain that plays a vital role in virtually all physical movement. The cerebellum has several functions relating to movement and coordination, including Maintaining balance, Coordinating movement, Vision & Motor learning. Some researchers also believe that the cerebellum has some major role in thinking, including processing language and mood too. Like other structures in the central nervous system, the cerebellum consists of grey matter and white matter. The three ways that the cerebellum can be subdivided are – anatomical lobes, zones & functional divisions.
