Garibaldi is an alpine lake at 4,869 ft above sea level. It's located in the Garibaldi Provincial Park in southwestern British Columbia in Canada. Its maximum depth is 849 ft, and the surface area covers 2460 acres. The lake is fed by the surrounding Sentinel and Sphinx glaciers and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, volcanic outcrops, and alpine meadows. During summer, the temperature of the lake can get up to sixteen degrees, and from December to May, the lake is frozen. The beautiful turquoise color makes the lake the jewel of the park.
