Moraine Lake is located in Banff National Park, in Alberta Canada. It's fed by the glaciers of the Valley of Ten Peaks. The lake is at an elevation of 6,183 feet, and its surface is approximately 120 acres. Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, rock piles, waterfalls and trees such as the Lodgepole pines and the White spruces. The Moraine Lake Lakeshore Trail and the Larch Valley Trail are top-rated trails for hikers. With its stunning turquoise color, Moraine Lake is considered the most beautiful lake in the Canadian Rockies.
