Mount Robson is located in the Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia Canada. It has the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 12,972 ft. It rises above the Fraser Valley and various other peaks such as Mount Resplendent and Rearguard Mountain. Being located in an area that covers four biogeoclimatic zones, its vegetation changes from the Cedar Hemlock at the bottom to the Alpine Tundra at the top. As elevation is gained, the variety of birds and animal species varies as well. According to BC Parks, Mount Robson Provincial Park is home to 182 birds species, 42 species of mammals, four amphibians, one reptile.
