The ruins of the Dungur Palace is located in Ethiopia. It’s popularly known as Queen Sheba's Palace, though historians think it’s the mansion of an unknown nobleman. The age of the mansion is also uncertain; however, archaeologists estimate that it was built around the 6th century AD. The Dungur Palace has walls that are recessed at intervals and unusually tapering with height. The flagstone floor is well-preserved. The stairwells imply the existence of at least one upper storey.
