Located in Delhi, India, the Lotus Temple is the world's most beautiful Bahá’i temple of worship. Its flower-like architecture was designed by the Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba. The Lotus structure has three layers, and each layer has nine petals. Nine doors lead to the central prayer hall, which is forty meters high and has a capacity of 2,500 people. In the Bahá’i faith, the lotus represents God's manifestation, and it symbolizes freshness and purity. While the number nine is a symbol of fulfillment and completeness.
