Yoho National Park is located in the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies in Eastern British Columbia. The park was established in 1886 and is the second oldest national park in Canada after Banff. It was named after a Cree expression of wonder and awe. Yoho spans on 1,313 square kilometers. The park hosts Lake O'Hare and Emerald Lake. It has 28 mountains peaks above 3,000. Visitors from around come to admire the stunning vertical rock walls and the beautiful Takakkaw waterfalls. The wildlife comprises a variety of animals including Grizzly bears, elks, and cougars.
